A man should not express his initial interest by mailing something, at least where I live (NY, USA). That might be seen as creepy. Particularly finding out her mailing address, which could compromise her safety. She might perceive it as a boundary violation.
Once they've dated, and he's had a chance to find out where she lives in a natural way, then maybe a surprise to her home would be nice... but start with something mellow like flowers, candy, a book or something.
Ask her out! See how it goes from there. Pay for whatever you ask her to go to. You'll soon know if she's attracted to you.

For some very superficial women, the only difference between nice and creepy is whether or not she thinks the guy's hot. If he's ugly, she probably thinks he's creepy. If he's hot, he's probably a sweetheart gentleman.
Sometimes the distinction is between whether or not she's already told him yes or no. If she's told him that she's not interested and clearly doesn't want to be bothered anymore, she'll probably think it's creepy if he keeps pursuing her. If she returns the interest, then it might be sweet (although it could escalate into clingy). It's hard to say, and it usually depends on the situation.
Finding out a woman's mailing address is going a little too far and is probably creepy. Maybe leave it in a place she'll find it that's not too personal, like her work, or give it to a friend to pass on? I know I'd be a little weirded out by someone who got my address.

Hmm--a fine line between creepy & not. How hard did you have to dig to find her address--the phone book? then I would say that's not to creepy,. Follow her home--that's creepy. Good luck Mr Main Event, you sound like a thoughtful & considerate guy.

Totally depends on how she views you.
You have to gauge that. If she laughs and smiles and looks at you a lot and you guys talk occationally then she might, just might not see that as creepy.
If she likes you, she will think that you were very sweet to think of her and to do something out of your way like that.

That's pretty two sided. I think the nice gift would compell her attention for the most part.
