The sheets must be out. Tucked in is confining, claustrophobic. But the top edge of the sheet must be folded over the blanket on top of it. Can't stand for a blanket to touch me. Weird, I know, but what can I say? And the sheets MUST be flannel in the winter!!! :)

In for looks. Once in the sack, I pull the sheet out. Gotta have a foot out while I sleep.

I don't sleep with a top sheet. It falls out everytime when I sleep. The blanket stays on. I don't know how the sheet comes out like that.

out, so I can get out, in a hurry if I need to. tucked in can cause a person to be stuck for seconds that might be badly needed

I like them untucked so I don't feel trapped.
When I was a kid, though, my dad would make the bed with me in it when he tucked me in at night. I loved it then...it made me feel safe.
