Enough to let people spit on Him and beat Him until He was bleeding and then stripped Him naked and slammed spikes through His wrists and ankles.....for insignificant little me who has not always given Him back honor that He deserved. He knew ahead of time that I would dishonor Him but He died for me anyway so that my sin towards Him could be forgiven. That's how much He loves me! I will praise His name forever!!

enough to get stabbed, be nailed to a cross, have vinegar poured in his wounds, and be periced through the heart!!! So a lot. all for us people would come millions of years after that. But he said it best when his arms were spread on the cross saying "I love you THIS MUCH"

God is love and Jesus Christ is the son of love.We are the made in the image of God,therefore he has love in each of us.We are his children and like all parents,the love is unconditional

Thats why His arms were stretched out of His shoulder sockets on the cross....He was saying "this much"
Thinking of that gives me shivers....almost makes me cry. I cried like a baby when I first heard that.

think about how much you love you mom or dad...
think about how much you care for you little sister or brother or best friend, or you cousin, or aunt or whatever...
then think about anyone that you have cared for remotely at all....
now try and wrap all that up and look at it...jesus is trying to show you, no matter how much love and tenderness you have seen on earth, he can multiply and expand beyond limitless boundries.
try to imagine how much that is...
