Discreetly ask your Personnel Manager or your Supervisor about this situation and ask them to speak to your co-worker to help him.

When I was in beauty school, we had a heavy drinker come in once a week. The stench oozed out of her pores. She smelled so bad each of the students had to take a turn washing her hair, setting it ect.....my turn was to take her out from under the dryer and take the rollers out. You couldn't stand to be near her for more than a few minutes at a time. Well, the heat make her stink even MORE, so when I was removing the rollers, I was actually gagging. Since she was facing the mirror, she saw me. I was ready to puke on her, she smelled so bad. All the students got fed up and complained to the head of the school. She called her into the office and explained the problem and gave her scented soap. It should be up to the head of your dept to do this, NOT YOU!

It's a sensitive problem. Dealing with it the wrong way could do great harm to this person. If you find it hard to tell her, discuss it with a friendly superior at work. Make sure that the superior knows that you like this person (you're not complaining about this smelly person, you wish to solve a problem).

Good luck

Been There!!!!! She sat in the desk right in front of me, so I had to smell her all day.
I don't think that there is any nice, gentle way to tell your co-worker. The other women in our office never could come up with one. Just consider it your cross to bear.

attempt to forget approximately those co-workers, they are attempting to tug you right down to their point & experience as undesirable as they do. they actually do no longer choose to giggle clarification for what they are dealing with, what they are dealing with whilst they bypass homestead, what they are able to't do or spend & the variety. it would be solid to no longer BOAST approximately your college training, that makes them experience like a looser. take under consideration what you're asserting & the way you're appearing in the direction of others to be dealt with like that.

I would tell them. Me, personally I would kind of make a joke out of it, or play it off like it isn't such a big deal...the first time.

i'm a writer and had to write about that problem-you're really doing them a favor if you tell them with gentle sensitivity and caring. if you don't, then you might become resentful of this person yourself.

yes, especially if they were nice. I would rather they hear the info from a friend instead of people talking about them behind their back and them overhearing them.

That is a very sensitive question, because you could offend this person by telling them, even your intention is good.

Well I'm sure they'd figure it out eventually, until then I'd just avoid and probably not speak of it to anyone.
