English isn't my native language, and I'd like to know how do you say "push" in "I'm pushing the odds" in other words?

I know what "I'm pushing the odds" means but don't know the synonyms for the "push."

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure exactly what you want to know.

"Pushing the odds" is a perfectly viable phrase that means you're taking a chance when the odds are against you.

If you need synonyms for Push, use the Roget's Thesaurus.

Here are a few to get you started:

Shove, thrust, ram, exhort, campaign ...

I'm wondering about the entire phrase, "pushing the odds". Do you perhaps mean:

Beating the odds?
Tempting fate?
Pressing my luck?

I hope something here is helpful...

It would be like driving (in the golf way like driving the ball; moving it). It's actually pretty hard to explain. Maybe to assert it to its limit.

force (forcing)
play (playing)
beat (beating)
Kick (kicking)
