Absolutely not. Your drivers license will be fine. Even though Puerto Rico is not a U.S. State it is a U.S Protectorate and Commonwealth. They have zip codes, U.S. Mail trucks and many of the same institutions that exist on the mainland U.S.

Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens as well. You DO NOT need a passport to travel there.

No.

Given Puerto Rico’s relationship to the U.S., traveling to and from Puerto Rico is much like traveling between the 50 states. Therefore, no passport or immunizations are necessary for a U.S. citizen or national traveling to Puerto Rico. However, some form of identification, for example a driver’s license, passport or an original copy of a birth certificate, should be carried to evidence U.S. citizenship or nationality.

Resident aliens residing in the U.S. traveling to the Commonwealth are required to have a valid passport and an appropriate U.S. visa, if required by the U.S. State Department.

No. Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory. You don't need a passport to go there just because you're flying over international waters. You fly over international waters to go to Hawaii, but you don't have to have a passport to go there.

No, because Puerto Rico is a commonwealth of the US but I'd take it anyway fro identification and also if you wanted to travel by plane or boat to other non U.S. destinations from there.

Happy travels!

You definitely need a passport because PR is like a colony of the US, and not a state.
