Arrange bacon in a single layer in a 10- by 15-inch rimmed pan. Bake in a 375° regular or convection oven until browned, 17 to 25 minutes, turning slices over after 10 minutes. Transfer bacon to towels to drain; discard fat in pan. Serve warm or at room temperature

Lay bacon strips on a cookie sheet. Put in a cold oven and turn heat up to 400 degrees. Bake 20 mins. Convection oven works well here. No turning, no draining fat.
I do this all the time! I guarantee it works beautifully.

I do chicken and fish pockets made out of tinfoil all the time and I don't have alzheimers. At least I don't remember having it. Just avoid anything that has tomatos where the foil would come in contact with them. A tented dish woud be fine but not a patted down to the surface thing. The acide in the tomatos will react with the aluminum and your dish will taste like you are chewing on a gum wrapper. Trust me, I ruined an eggplant parmesan with a tin foil wrap. Tin foil is one of the greatest gifts to cooks. A cooking vessel that you can throw away. Easy clean up.

You need to use a low temperature, like 350 degrees (don't worry, the bacon will cook FAST) or it will pop and splatter everywhere and could catch on fire inside the oven. Turn after like 15 minutes. Don't let the pieces touch each other or it won't cook at the places the pieces touch.

Personally, I like to crank the heat up to about 400 degrees. You have to watch that the bacon doesn't burn, but IMHO, the strips are crisper than if you cook them at a lower temp.

I cook mine @ 350 preheated. Keep a close eye on it after 5 minutes so it not burn. Thickness is the key player here. Good Luck.

350 or 400f for like 20 minutes
its tricky to get it right
just throw it in a wok with olive oil, just a little and stir it till its crispy
get bacon with no nitrates since they cause cancer
worth the extra $1.50 i think, ya save it in medical bills 20 years later
