just about everyone tells you to drink a lot of water. which makes sense since one of the worst symptoms is severe thirst. HOWEVER, careful, cause drinking too much water will make you go to the bathroom a lot and that may reduce your vitamin and mineral levels, which will actually might make you feel worse. So if you drink a lot of water, then take some vitamin pills. Vitamin b6 is supposively good for a hangover too. There are some pills that i have seen in some nutrition stores that supposively prevent hangovers. I haven't tried any myself, but I've heard some of them work ok, although you might get the same feeling like drinking one of those high energy drinks.
Just my opinion, but the best way is to not get too drunk (easier said than done, eh? ) cheers!

Drink TONS of water and tinkle it out. The only way for alcohol to get out of your system is by forcing it out or sitting and waiting for it to absorb in your system.
Keep drinking water while you drive to work and more at work until you feel better. Tinkling helps!
In the future, drink 1 glass alcohol to 1 glass water.... Alcohol takes the water from your system, so you have to rehydrate your body as often as possible

it's not just dehydration that causes a hangover - it's the minerals you need to replace too.
drink as much gatorade or whatever sports drink you can, and take a multivitamin (or two) right before bed
