If a GPS receiver is connected to a remote antenna, is the position reported to be the location of the receiver or the location of the remote antenna?

The GPS unit calculates position based on information encoded in radio signals received from orbiting satellites. Since the radio signals are received by the antenna, the antenna position is what would be reported by the GPS unit.

Antenna, if the cable is shielded. i do no longer think of you may enter cable length everywhere in the firmware, yet once you be responsive to the place the antenna is relative to the receiver, you may artwork out the coordinates of the receiver.
