Ok, I have naturally curly hair, but it's little kinks and wave and spirals. I want big gorgeous spirals. So, I straighten my hair then take a curling iron to it and use like 1/3 of a can of hairspray. However, 20 minutes later, my hair just gets flat again. It's like no matter how much hairspray I use, the curls fall. What can I do for my hair type?

The best bet is to work with it when it is wet! Towel dry it and spray with Aussie sprunch spray or even some gel (there are some brands that are marketed for curly haired gals) and sprunch your hair by cupping it...At this point it should be pretty curly and you can blow dry it using a drier with a diffuser attachment. Good Luck!

I think it may be when you are straightening. I suggest maybe using a blowdry, on hot then for the last minute of drying put it on cold as it styles hair better. Add a volumizing serum and curl hair with curling iron but hair spray each curl. Make sure you don't run in wind. That's when they really fall apart!

dont straighten your hair before you curl it, that just sucks all the body right out of your hair and makes curls impossible to keep. instead, let your hair air dry or if youre in a rush use a diffuser, then use your curling iron to make your natural curls more defined and finish with a little bit of curl cream, preferably a line without alcohol, i like kms

try sponge rollers or Velcro rollers. sleeping in sponge rollers is more comfortable. Maybe even hot rollers. Be sure to use styling gel or moose. Roll the rollers vertically for a spiral effect. Have you tried blowing your hair dry while curling it aroud your finger.

dont straighten it and let it dry curly and once its dry take a large barreled curling iron and curl them so the curls are bigger and then use hairspray

After showering, put some Curling Gel in your hair and let it air dry. Curling Gel holds your curls and keeps them frizz free.
