Usually, I on't care. But I saw a question a few minutes ago that really pissed me off. He was nagging about how it's wrong to be gay. I hate people who just can't stop being stereotypical and so narrow-minded! What do you guys honesty think? I personally think that if it really mattered who was in love with who, which apparently it does, that everyone would be nicer and not so stupid. My step-dad is like that against other religons and I hate him and yell at him for being so closed-minded.

I know - you sound like me when I was a lot younger...here is the tough issue you have to eventually face....if you literally hate all close-minded people, then you are the same as them because you have categorized a group of people based on one small aspect of their personality and have decided to hate them all. It's a HUGE conundrum. I hate it, lol!! But seriously try and focus on what you share in common rather than what divides you and it does help get you from one day to the next. I do share your passion, though. It is extremely frustrating.

It is hard when you say, "see, look," and the others say "see what?" This is the human race, but sometimes the length of the narrow mind is without end. My cousin died about twenty years ago from aids. I am tolerant of gays, (means I don't think about them or let their beliefs bother me) but I think that they don't have a clue in regards to the "real" big picture and the price required here or hereafter for their actions and beliefs. Time will tell.
In the bible in Genesis 19, you get a clue what God thinks about men who know other men. As humans, when we jump from the fence, we can't land on both sides. It is either one way or the other. Each person must come to terms with this sensual age.

I think that there is so much hatred and ugliness in this world that when two people get together and love each other, we should celebrate that. I honestly don't understand why people are so freaked out about what two consenting adults do in their own bedrooms. It's not like they're putting on a show in the middle of the street. It doesn't affect YOU, people. So let them do what they want to do. No one is asking you to be gay. No one is going to make your kids gay. It doesn't rub off. It doesn't happen through osmosis. Grow up and get out of the dark ages.

I'm also not big on religion...any religion. But I respect people's right to worship whom they choose, how they choose, unless in the practice of said religion, someone's rights are denied. That, to me, is wrong.

It's just what some people believe. People oftentimes believe in religion and not what is considered politically correct. The Bible says that homosexuality is a sin, so Christians believe it to be wrong.
It's just a matter of morality and Christians have a different view of it than secular people.

How much blood has beeen and will continue to be shed over people's beliefs? Gay marriage? Abortion rights? All supposedly God's wishes, right? It is people using God to advance their agendas because their heart is full of hate not love. If your son or daughter was gay, would you disown them? If so, that person should never have children.

people don't realize that there are things in the world have been going on for a very long time and they can't except it because it ruins thier outlook of what the world should be. Now that people are more open to what they believe in ; it is more noticeable to others. We can't change it, we can't get rid of it ; and people have the right to live as they please as long as it dosen't harm others. So, all thats left is to get over it and enjoy your own life and believe in what you think is right for yourself and not others.

Scripturally speaking it is wrong to commit homosexual acts...the same as it is wrong to lie, cheat, and steal. All sin is sin and none are perfect. Before anyone begins to point fingers at another person they should ask themselves would they want someone pointing out their iniquities. If not, then they should shut up and let God do the judging.

You would think people would use that passion to help the homeless or fight disease. Why waste the energy hating people that do no harm, to anyone and lead good lives.

I agree with you
