one of my alltime favorites is The Outsiders because I loved the view into the life of the gang, it was wonderful. It teached about tolerance and how you can't categorize people just by their appearance or their friends, you need to give them a chance because you have no idea what their life is like or what their problems are. I also love A Tree Grows in Brooklyn because i find it inspirational and hopeful and i enjoy how it chroniclizes her life. the Catcher in the Rye and Animal Farm re also two of my favorites because of the first's real life issues and solutions, and the second's stark portray of the gripping reality of communism and its dangers, and easily it can occur. I enjoy ho it is a satire.

My favorite book is Gideon's Gift by Kingsbury. It is one of the most amazing books I think I have ever read. It is very short, a nice easy read, but has so much meaning and feeling, I guarentee you will end up crying. The story is about a little girl named Gideon. Gideon is a sweet little girl with cancer. She ends up falling into remission and decides she wants to help homeless people now that she isn't sick anymore. Her family wasn't exactly wealthy, so she decided that if she couldn't give them anything else, she would give them a smile. She comes apon Ed. Ed is a very cold hearted man after strugling with family problems. This story tells how Gideon works her magic and how the simpliest of things can mean the world.
I love this book because it is very heart-warming and inspiring. I cried my eyes out in this book, but it all ended with a huge smile. I recomend this to book to anyone and everyone. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

as taken from the book, "Christmas miracles happen to those who believe."

Enjoy!

The Feminine Mystique. It proved my point that marriage and motherhood will devour the soul of a smart, driven woman.

"The Profit" By Kahlil Gibran
Because he was a brilliant philosopher and a great artist who really searched himself to get to know who he was. It helped me to get to know myself better at a time when I didn't know.
