how to increase the height of furniture?

bought a tropical style desk with 8 legs. want to boost the height be putting something that looks like circular brown bamboo under each leg. any ideas?

Buy wood the thickness that you want to increase the height. Stain it and finish it. Glue to the bottom.

Do you know anybody with a Woodlathe? Im sure they could make you 8 little stands that would match style of furniture..just an idea
