I bought it in a little bakery near the town-centre. It is made with a lot of chocolate in the pastry and a lot of soft chocolate outside. The best cake I had ever eaten. But the bakery didn't tell me the receipt. Please excuse my bad english.

Getting a professional to give up their prize recipe is something very rare.

If they won't tell you how they make their cake; find out the name of the shop and the baker and their address then write to a major publication (London Times or international food magazines [like Bon Appetite or Gourmet]) to find it out for you.

Chefs will sometimes respond when asked in this manner because they know not only will it be published internationally, but it's free publicity! Something most chefs love. This is how I got the recipe for the best prawn dish I've ever tasted in my life!

Have you check if they have a web site? Possibly (not likely though) they will have some recipes posted there.

Cheers & good luck
