it sounds crazy but the salon I work at just got the Paul Mitchell color line and it makes your hair crazy shiny. Even if you want to keep your hair the same they have this clear coat color that you can get put on your hair..I have very damaged hair from coloring it so much and I was sooo surprised that it actually could make even my hair shiny! Not sure where you live but if your in this area..... www.foilssalonandspa.com

If you don't have dry hair, then you can do this. Mix 1 tsp of apple cider vinegar with a cup of water, and pour it over your hair after shampooing. Leave on for a couple of minutes and rinse off. This adds a lot of shine and body to hair. And for dry hair, it has to be olive oil. Apply it warm at least 1 hr before shampoo. This softens hair and makes it shiny.

There are many products with silicone in it (dymethicone, cyclemethicone) they are clear and very slippery feeling, they are often used to control frizz like Frizz Ease or Silk Therapy, or Shine Enhancer. Then use a good flat iron like CHI or Babyliss. Some thermal protection leave in conditioners have silicone. Spray shine is cool too. you will find the best types in the Ethnic Section of your beauty supply.

Make sure to get a trim each month. Makes your hair grow and look really healthy. Try leave-in conditioners too (makes your hair shiny, and healthy). I have naturally curly, and frizzy hair but once i put in some leave in conditioner and straighten it... its really shiny and silky! One of the best leave-in conditioners would have to be Redken. Another is Biolage.

Eat healthy and then use a shampoo with conditioner and your hair will look really nice. If you don't have to blow dry it then don't. I let my hair dry on it's on and you should see how nice it looks. Try finesse or prell for shampoo and conditioner. They sell it where the condtioner is in with the shampoo. Then brush your hair becuase the more you use a brush the healthier your hair will look.
