Try mixing with ginger ale. It is important that you take the second dose of fleets... your stools should be liquid clear or yellow on the morning of the exam so that the endoscopist has a good view of your colon. After going through the prep you want to make sure that you get the best exam possible & nothing is missed. Good luck!

i don't think of that is an same, yet why do not you ask the well-being practitioner who's arranging it? Or someone on the well-being facility the position you're having it finished? i have had a colonoscopy - with the sedative the technique is a breeze. you purely choose someone to %. you up reason you'd be somewhat intense. The worst area is the prep. sturdy success.

Frankly I never cease to be amazed at how many folk blindly follow their doctor's advice -- without checking out the facts or alternative therapy themselves.
What's going on with you that you're getting repeat colonoscopies -- and what is the American medical profession doing for you besides tests and medication?
How necessary IS this colonoscopy? I was in the hospital for a WEEK a year ago for an intestinal problem - which turned out to be a severe intestinal infection caused by ... antibiotics for a sinus infection. I've since learned that antibiotics cause a great deal of intestinal difficulties for a great many people, particularly as we get older. Guess what? Doctors prescribe more antibiotics. Antibiotics kill all bacteria - good and bad. I have healed myself through the use of probiotics, acidophilus, nutrition (more specifically much more fruits, veggies and fiber) and supplements. You may want to consider alternative therapy. Whether you are experiencing blockage/constipation or diahrrea, fiber can help in both cases.
I hate to see anyone get on the treadmill of colonoscopies, medications and doctor's visits.

I, too, have used the flavored prep. But, for me, what makes the most difference is to get it down quickly. I breathe fast for a little bit, so I won't have to come up for air while I'm chugging the stuff. Then, I drink it at as fast a rate as is comfortable.

skip the phospho soda- just eat nothing but oatmeal and drink nothing but water for about 3-4 days prior to the procedure- that will clean you out good if you can stick with it.
I did that and had a colon clean enough to eat off of- yuk! not really
