Not me, I believe it is murder.

God is the only one who decides if someone gets pregnant or not, even if you have intercourse it is still just a chance clearly determined by God. In the same way Mary was chosen to carry a child so are all mothers.

The mother alone should not be able to make such an immoral decision on her own. At the very least I wish they would change the fact that a father has no choice and parents of a minor have no choice. Abortion should be illegal, but I fear making it illegal would only incite physical abuse of mothers with non-sterile instruments and by non-licensed medical practitioners.

amen. Some lyrics that make a whole lot of sense.

And what would happen if we prayed for those raised up to lead the way? Then maybe kids in school could pray and unborn children see light of day.
What if the light that we pursue came from a hunger for the truth?
What if the family turned to jesus, stopped asking Oprah what to do!

and...

United states of America, looks like another silent night,
as we're sung to sleep by philosophies that save the trees and kill the children..

Month One
Mommy, I am only 8 inches long, but I have all my organs. I love the sound of your voice. Every time I hear it, I wave my arms and legs. The sound of your heart beat is my favorite lullaby.

Month Two

Mommy, today I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see me, you could definitely tell that I am a baby. I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though. It is so nice and warm in here.

Month Three

You know what Mommy, I'm a boy!! I hope that makes you happy. I always want you to be happy. I don't like it when you cry. You sound so sad. It makes me sad too, and I cry with you even though you can't hear me.

Month Four

Mommy, my hair is starting to grow. It is very short and fine, but I will have a lot of it. I spend a lot of my time exercising. I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes, and stretch my arms and legs. I am becoming quite good at it too.

Month Five

You went to the doctor today. Mommy, he lied to you. He said that I'm not a baby. I am a baby Mommy, your baby. I think and feel. Mommy, what's abortion?

Month Six

I can hear that doctor again. I don't like him. He seems cold and heartless. Something is intruding my home. The doctor called it a needle. Mommy what is it? It burns! Please make him stop! I can't get away from it! Mommy! HELP me!

Month Seven

Mommy, I am okay. I am in Jesus's arms. He is holding me. He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me Mommy?

Every Abortion Is Just . . .

One more heart that was stopped.

Two more eyes that will never see.

Two more hands that will never touch.

Two more legs that will never run.

One more mouth that will never speak

.

I flip back and forth on the decision because I don't believe that a woman should bring a child into this world if she can't take care of it. And of course if the mother is put in jepordy and rape. I think men have an easier choice on this. As women I think this becomes very personal for us. But it's America and that's what's great about it, we all get to chose our views.

I doubt very many people are "for" abortion in the sense that they they think there should be more of them.

I think abortions are bad.
I think abortion should be legal, safe and available.
I'm not against some sort of regulations or restrictions.
I am opposed to faith based laws.

I think the laws should be federal, not state because I think they should apply to all equally. If the laws are state-by-state it favors those with money since poor people can't jet off to wherever for an abortion.

I don't think there are any perfect answers to this one.

I'm so happy you'll never be faced with this decision. You can't imagine what it must be like for a 13 year old girl to find out that because her disgusting uncle couldn't control himself, she's going to be forced to raise his precious "miracle". You'll never have to be a woman that was gang-raped or forced to have sex against her will by some unknown attacker, and have to see that baby and nurture it. You'll never be some poor 15 year old who got pressured into doing something before she was ready, or who simply made a mistake and threw away the rest of her life. You'll never experience any of this, because you're a guy. You don't have to make this choice, and frankly, you don't have the right to thrust your beliefs on anyone else. A lot of guys think they can put their penis wherever they want, but it's the female that ends up getting stuck with the consequences.

Sure, you can argue that the baby could be given up for adoption. But I've seen what happens in a lot of foster homes. I've seen what happens to a lot of kids who get shuffled from family to family and some are treated like garbage, and some end up having to make that hard decision because the group homes or the foster homes have abusers in there that take advantage of them. My father-in-law was raised in an orphanage and suffered years of sexual abuse, and it haunts him to this day. If he had been a girl, he likely would have wanted to have abortion as an option.

I'm glad you have your own beliefs. That's nice. But when you start thrusting your beliefs on other people and make that law, then you've crossed the line.

If you don't believe in abortion, don't GD have one. Take that right away from the rest of us and you will start a very uncivil war. Angry women with matches all across America will turn fundi and Catholic churches into burning monuments to gender repression.
I'm getting a little sick of Bible Nazis who are willing to hold a gun to a woman's head to force her to breed an unwanted child. You seem to think it is a violation of YOUR rights if you are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove your narrow religious views down the throats of the rest of us. We will NOT allow you to establish a theocratic dictatorship, EVER.

Good for you. You go right ahead and try to outlaw abortion. In the meantime, Im going to try to find a AIDS carrying psychopath to rape your 12 year old daughter....

Does a mass of less than 40 cells look at itself in a mirror and become self-aware? Does a mass of cells that has no nervous system feel the pain of being aborted?? Does the fact that nearly 70% of natural conceptions ending in spontaneous abortion not prove that God is the world's most prolific abortionist???

Go ahead, stick to your narrowly defined view of the world...

Hell yeah, if you ban abortion, then the orphaniges are over run. A fetus has no concousness. It cannot think as it has no brain activity so i don't believe it is remotely murder. The fetus is simply a collection of blood cells, forming to make "pottential" life.

You are living in a dream world, baby. Worry about the people dying in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Congo, before you worry about immature life. How about the millions of sperm that die everytime a man ejaculates? Why don't you try to save them, which is just as ridiculous as your hysteria?
