Dear Dumb,
I agree with Shermy. Don't follow anything blindly.
Blind is blind whether you are talking about science or religion.
I once blindly followed a line of cars at the CT DMV. My car was due for the inspection which was being implemented. I needed to study for an accounting exam so I piled my books into the car along with plenty of things to keep my daughter happy and headed off. The line was extremely slow moving and I kept inching along. After 3 hours I finally had my turn but when I handed the paperwork to the inspector he just grimaced. The line I was in was for Registration NOT the emissions inspection!
I only lost 3 hours + the time I had to sit in the emissions line but to blindly follow science or religion will waste your eternal life.
Are you familiar with the writings of such people as C.S. Lewis or Lee Strobel? They were athiests who wanted to disprove religion but ended up coming into Relationship with the Author of life.
Check out Mere Christianity by Lewis and The Case for Faith by Strobel.

You shouldn't follow anything blindly. Following science blindly is an oxymoron as it is the essence of science that everything is discussed and questioned and no theory gets accepted without strong evidence for it.

there are facts for science, but no facts supporting religion, so you cannot blindly follow science
why would you still choose to blindly follow anything... religion?
At least try to understand the concept of gods, find some beliefs that appeal to you, or seem reasonable to you, from other religions, and try to question things in life, people should try to understand what religion actually preaches, because most people are blind morons, very superficial with religion, and very hypocritical

You can't blindly follow science. Science is only a method for gathering and organizing information based on evidence.
You shouldn't blindly follow anything. At least with scientific knowledge there is evidence, unlike religious belief.

If you have to blindly follow something, its much more heathly to blindly follow the religion of your choice. You see, religion has a long history of being supportive in this way, which science does not.
Science is built upon the 'scientific method' which is a doctrine that precludes blind followers. Here's the basic tenet's of the process for illustration:
1) Define the question
2) Gather information and resources
3) Form hypothesis
4) Perform experiment and collect data
5) Analyze data
6) Interpret data and draw conclusions that serve as a starting point for new hypotheses
7) Publish results
Nowhere is there room for blind administration. Each step requires careful thought and active consideration.
Of course, one noted exception is as we are born into this world, we lack the experience on which to draw and formulate new theories about the way the world works. Essentially, as children we rely on our parents and teachers as highly credible sources of knowledge on which to build a basic understanding from which science can emerge.
This is a kind of 'faith' in that we have to first have faith that our parents and teachers are in fact correct in their world-view. That faith gives us the foundation for one day accepting something as sophisticated as the Scientific Method as a basis for reasoning.
In this sense, it could be argued that even though one might accept 'science' as an ultimate moderator of truth, it is only through the filter, and prejudices, of that initial 'faith' in our parents' teachings that we interpret the results.
So, basically, I'm saying that faith is, in fact, the basis of all knowledge. "Crede, ut intelligas"

1. You don't have to follow Science blindly because Science always gives proof of what it claims.
2. You have to follow Religion blindly because Religion does not offer proof for anything it claims.

You shouldn't blindly follow anything. If you believe in religion, use the brain God gave you. If you believe in science, use the brain you acquired from many years of evolution.

The first and most imortant principle u should follow is that of independant investigation of the truth. You should NEVER blindly follow ANYTHING.
Secondly, science and religion are in harmony with one another. Look at their agreements, not their dissimilarities.
