"Fuel inertia switch" is also called "fuel pump cut off switch" is actually a reset button.
Please read your owners manual for cautions before you try to reset a fuel pump. You will find this topic in the first few pages of the "Roadside Emergencies" chapter.
If you don't have an owners manual, you can download one for free @ http://fordvehicles.com

"An impact-activated switch standard on all Ford car, sport utility vehicle and truck gas engines that automatically shuts off the fuel being pumped to the engine, for added safety in the event of a collision. Once the inertia-type switch is triggered, it must be reset manually. Refer to the specific vehicle’s Owner Guide for details on resetting the switch."

On my '93 Escort this switch was in the trunk, inside a panel. I don't know about Focii.

An inertia switch on any ford product is a fuel cutoff switch. it's used to stop the fuel pump from running, shutting off the engine in case of an accident. usually located under a removable panal. sometimes in the trunk, on either rear panal, or behind the passanger side kick panal. you'll know it's the switch because it has somekind of identification tag or sticker. It's usually a red button, push it to restore power to the fuel pump.
