yuck, eewww, I don't know what happen but first it was a little spot on his tail and he always bitting at it then he started losing hair in that spot, now he rubs on the fence, on the bushes and anything else till it bleeds and eeewww, I don't even know what it is!!! what could it be or what should I do????

Its commonly called Hot Spots or more properly, Acute Moist Pyoderma and is most commonly caused from flea bite allergy or less often by food allergies.
You can help it by applying neosporin or liguid douche to ease the itching and keep it from becoming infected..then, either get rid of his fleas, or change to a hypo-allergenic kibble, if he hasn't had any fleas..

Dogs, like people, sometimes get irritations, rashes or "hot spots." Nothing to be grossed out about, just like you would go to a Dr., take your pet to a vet. Your dog doesn't like it any more than you do, so get it some help.

It sounds like a hotspot or maybe fleas my dog has gone through both recently. But the only way you can tell is if you take him to the vet.

Stop being so grossed out, and then take your dog to a vet to get the area examined for possible causes behind the irritation.

I would say take him to the vet. Maybe its something in particular with his tail. Maybe he has a certain food reaction. Make sure your dog food has no corn, wheat, or soy. Those can be indigestible and can cause food allergies.

it is called a hot spot, take your dog to the vet and he will give you a cream to put on it, no big deal. it can also be caused by fleas.

He could have fleas or a rash or some sort, I'd take him to the vet.

It could be ring worm you should have a vet look at it and it is very contagious you could get it.
