I had a girlfriend at one point who had a blue and gold, a Goffin's cockatoo, and a mess of other lesser birds. They were all pretty sweet (except for the adopted Military macaw that was just psycho).

The cockatoo and macaw LOVED fried chicken wings or drumsticks. Yeah, fried food is maybe not healthy, but hey, here and there maybe not too bad. They also liked them just baked chicken or whatever.

Either way, they seemed to like things they could hold with one claw and work at for a while. I am always amazed at what those beaks can break through - scary.

nutritious ones :) I worked with some macaws and cockatoos that absolutely loved refrigerated grapes- they would peel off the outside and eat the inside. One of the macaws would be greedy and stuff 4 in her mouth so she didnt have to share with her mate :)
Another good one is corn on the cob- I haven't meet a large bird yet that did not like to eat it. They hold on to the cob and eat the corn across- just like a person would!

Fresh fruits and veggies, a TINY bit of cheese (they are lactose intolerant), the occasional nut is good... Keep the nuts and seeds to a minimum as they are high in fat and low in real nutrition. If you are working on training, pretty much anything that they will go bananas over works, but don't overdo it. Avoid salted or fried foods. Go as natural as possible. Good luck!

he is young so give him some fresh fruits and nuts to make him strong and healthy. And give him exercise everyday let him fly around or just get a play set for him to exercise.

I don't agree with one best treat, you should give your parrot variety eg. vegies, fruit nuts......My Eclectus parrot used to love passion fruit
