Interbitch aggression is the hardest kind of dog aggression to deal with. If you have two unaltered female dogs in the house, spaying is definitely the most important first step. If you already have a full-blown problem, you will have to take additional steps to work the the dogs.

Spaying a female dog may reduce the aggression towards another female but it probably will not cut it out entirely. It is never recommended to try and home two females (even two spade females) together because of their aggressiveness toward one another.
