is there any way i can use my camcorder as a web cam and if so what soft ware would i need to do so,

you should use a webcam, camcorder or digital digicam that takes video. the purely turn away with a webcam is the will arises go away it linked to the computing gadget to take video and photos. i'd say, use a digital digicam with video option or a camcorder that has a hookup to a computing gadget.
