DON'T ASK HIM OUT!!! From what you wrote, I was in the exact situation. I tried to move things forward and it didn't go that bad but we decided to take a break from each other anyways. I think the problem is he still has to "figure" things out first. I don't even know what that means too. And passive agressive. Sounds like two opposites. I heard that term but don't know what it means also.

I dont think he is going to ask you out any time soon. He told you that he wants a break from relationships and that means he doesnt want a girlfriend. So if I were you I would move on this guy is looking for a bootycall not a g/f.

take a chill pill. whats the big rush. you can go kick it with its just like a date without the word(date), and if things jump off from there then,get the benifits and if it doesn't then get the benifits anyway and move on.no relationship breakups
