I have had ingrown ahirs on the back of my scalp for using those pesky disposable, blunt razors that come in packs. I got ingrown bumps eventually, and they have shrunken alot with witch hazel and water. I want to know is it safe to use clippers on my scalp area near the bumps or should i just wait for the annoying bastards to go down? Thanks :D

I have no expertise except my boyf has shaved his head for the last 10 years, I think clippers would be okay.

I do have another thing to add though, the beautician said most ingrowns (caused by waxing in particular) can be avoided by exfoliating.

I recommend any exfoliating wash (with grainy beads or sandy particles in it) once or twice a week. (it worked for me)
Just exfoliate whenever you remember in the shower- the wash instructions on your exfoliant will say if it's not safe to use it more than once per week etc.

Good luck :)

they sell hair depilatory. Like Nair, but for men's beards.... But first try a facial scrub and a new double edged razor of good quality. Using a good clipper like Wahl with a fine tooth blade is best and it is like only one day's growth longer than a blade. I hate shaving the neck because I drink way too much coffee and shake too muccchhh. Just kidding. Chances are you are pushing down on the razor too hard and your razor sucks. It happens to the best of us. They also sell a bump removing cream that women use--''down there''.
