I wear lotion casue as most black folks know we Have dry skin.
I didn't think keeping my house clean effects my sexuality, that just sounds wierd

She doesnt know what she is talking about and plus i dont think she knows what a metro sexual is too. A metro sexual is someone (meaning any person) that looks like the opposite sex. I.e.- i have a friend at work that looks like a guy but is really a girl. & i cant tell whether she has boobs or a penis. & had the features on a female in the face but also the features of a guy too.

IMO, and the opinion of several men and women I've talked to....metrosexuals are the guys who wax their body hair, get manicures, pedicures, massages, workout on a regular basis, and generally take care of themselves.
Hip, Hip, hurray for the man who's skin is soft and doesn't scratch the gal/guy he's with! I don't understand a man who says it's not 'manly' to be well groomed and thus more attractive.
Oh, I'll agree that some women like hirsute men, but if you think about the statue of David......he doesn't have any body hair, his muscles are defined, and throughout the centuries has been touted as the 'perfect man'.

the concept of Metro Sexual is that a guy isn't afraid to show off his femine side..
i don't agree that keeping a house clean is femine.. it's something most people would do anyway.. as far as lotion, well that isn't just for girls either..
bottom line, being given the metro-sexual label shouldn't necessarily be taken as an insult..

she stupid..that's what she is.. a metro sexual is a guy who deeply cares (obsesses) about his looks. it has nothing to do with keeping you home clean (this something everyone should try to do). As far as lotion..who wants dry skin??? no one.. that's why lotion was invented. white people have dry skin to so its not just black people. it just shows on us (ashy) b/c of our color. if you look at commercials for lotion, they mostly feature white women. that girl is probably kidding. don't take it seriously. no woman wants to clean up after a man. i know i sure won't.

Keeping your house clean has nothing to do with your sexuality. That girl needs to get a life and stop making stereotypical comments about others. I think it is great that you clean your house and hey you can't help it if you need lotion.

Metro isn't a sexual preference, it just means your more feminine. I don't think that putting lotion on , and keepng a clean house defines you as a metrosexual. Usually metrosexual people are very into fashion and just all around more feminine.

don't listen to the jerks that like to insult people on this forum. metrosexual is not an insult and it has nothing to do with being gay. but using lotion on dry skin and not being a slob in your house sound like you are a good guy and a lady would be happy to have someone like you. don't worry about it. and don't start being a slob to live up to someone's weird vision of a manly man.

Metro is just when a guy does girly things. But this doesn't mean that you are gay. Keep on doing what you are doing. There is nothing wrong with being metro. I think it's kind of hot but only to an extent.

you could be metro. that means absolutely nothing about your sexuality though.
it just means you like to look good and keep up a good appearance.
keeping your house clean does not mean anything. it just means you appreciate cleanliness.
and more guys should use lotion. it makes your skin more healthy.
