its been awhile now n so far many guys have told me that girls should be the one paying when going out on a date, but i have been used to guys paying or spliting it 50 50 o one date they pay n anoetr date ill pay etc....but in reality who should pay on the FIRST DATE? o any other dates?

either he pays or you split....if you ask him out...you pay or he may want to split....

It should be 50/50 all the way. I would never pay for something I didn't do, and I hate the thought of letting a guy pay for me. Divide it equally and everybody's happy.

I usually split the bill on the first date. And if he offers to pay the entire bill I always ask him if he's really okay with it or he's just trying to be nice. Because I really don't mind paying my own bill. If he's says he's okay with paying the entire bill, I just let the guy pay because I hate it when I see people fuss over the bill. But after that I usually pay for whatever we do afterwards. Only if it isn't that expensive.

The man that says that the woman should "pay all the time" is a loser and he can't afford to take a lady out. He is looking for a free ride...don't give it to him, he is a player. Going 50/50 is fine.

I'm old fashioned, I guess. I would never pay for dates! I expect to be pursued if a man is interested. If we're going dutch, then to me, that sends a message that we're friends just hanging out and that it's not a date. A relationship is a little different though. Once a relationship is *firmly* established there is a lot more mutual sharing that goes on.

Whoever asks should pay. If a girl asks, guys can always step in and pay. For guys, if you don't want to pay, don't ask for a date...do something else. And whevever you do pay, just remember, there's a fine line between gentleman and chump.
