why don't you just dump him and date someone else who you can trust and won't have to investigate all the time?

If you don't trust your boyfriend, the relationship is over already. If you cannot trust ANY boyfriend, you have a problem.
What you can do: make sure that you are respectful of yourself then do everything you can to make the other person comfortable.
