You've got a shortcut, but haven't yet activated the program. Try going to Start, All Programs, iTunes, then click iTunes which will open the EULA for iTunes and allow you to download the program.

Most likely it's a shortcut to itunes. What you can do is go into My Computer > C: > Program Files > Itunes and then find the original Itunes.exe file and rightclick on it > create short cut and then cut and paste it to your desktop.

This might mean that you have a virus in your computer. That happens to me also. Also, clean up your computer with files you dont need anymore that seems useless to you.I have a program called"Mozilla Firefox" it can block viruses and other junk. It will definitely clean up your computer and open your itunes!

you gotta install the progran first. try deleting it and then instaling it again ...try to charge your i pod to see if it works! :)
