Hi, Crafters --
This month's Church of Craft meeting will be Sunday, May 22nd. We meet from 11:30 - 2:30 at Rimsky-Korsacoffee House, 707 SE 12th (at Alder). If you're forwarding this to someone who's never been, it's the big, old, red house on the corner of SE 12th and Alder. There is no sign out front.
This month's free craft class: Artist Trading Cards, taught by Judy. If you'd like to participate, just email me for a supply list: sisterdg@churchofcraft.org.
Church of Craft is a nondenominational group of people who love to make stuff because it's good for the soul. More info at www.churchofcraft.org

I watched this version of IPL usually in the course of the start days yet now I not often song in. truly by way of lack of loose time lately to computer screen television. i'm no longer excited watch suits concerning communities like KKR and RR. primary i'm a lot less in contact now for IPL bcz something is lacking. there is a few boredom. I not in any respect purchase in to having this kind of large style of suits. that is yet an extra reason. nonetheless I look at the journey effects and the criteria table on a daily basis. BQ) T20 will stay IMO.

this might not sound interesting to you, but you might be surprised at some of the things you hear.....TALK to them....ask them about fun things they did when they were your age, if they have any stories, the funniest thing that happened to them, the saddest, their favorite teachers or places to go as a kid....how they met, if they dated anyone else before each other....just remember to be respectful and don't cross the line with rude questions. They might be happy to re-live those days and you might find out that you have a lot in common! Ask them to show you old pictures or keepsakes....do they have an attic? great places to explore! I don't know how old you are, but I loved spending time with my grandparents....there wasn't much to do, but sometimes that's nice, and once I got to know them, I really enjoyed being there. have fun!....try to avoid their computers...don't you use computers enough at home?

Ask them things like how they met, what was your mom/dad like growing up...learn about where you came from and the things that your grandparents have seen and how things have changed. You could also play some board games with them or cards. Your grandparents love you, and they won't be around forever ...enjoy them!

Ask questions!! You never know what interesting stories they may have.. not to mention the great things they may have hidden around the house, maybe even with a cool story! I bet your Gramma can teach you something that all the women have done in your family. Like crocheting, family recipes, or maybe you're great aunt had 6 fingers! you never know, just ask!!

YES! Grab a coke, sit down with them and ask them, "how did you meet?", "What did you do when you were my age?" "What funny story/embarrassing story can you tell me about mom/dad?" "what scares you, what makes you laugh, what makes you happy" TALK to THEM. You will have a good time and so will they. And you can use the computer too. Just trust me when I tell you - talk with your grandparents while they are still with you.
