Because it is part of a woman's instinct. only time will let down the walls. good guys are patient guys! Try not to take it so personally. I know that's the hardest part. but you just got to trust that a woman who spends enough time will eventually come to terms with you, and little by little, open up. Also, women who have had hard lives tend to set themselves up for disaster because that's what they're used to. If they feel you are too good to be true, it's because they feel like they don't deserve you. hope this helped.

Because good guys are i in a million now a days and if it seems that the guy is too good. The girl will think it is too good to be true and maybe prepare herself to get hurt and show her distrust.

its not that we treat them with distrust, its hard to think of the guy as perfect..we dont know how to handle the perfect relationship..there are a lot of good guys out there, but they are very few in between..it takes time for us to gain the trust..but with work, we do find out about you..

Look that is one question that I will never understand. See if you really pay attention to a girl you will notice that they always get with some guy that you now will cheat on her and disrespect her. So this girls pick the wrong guys and therefore think that every guy out there is the same.

Here's one thing... "omen out there always do state that they want a good guy but when it happens of course they don't trust them"... Here's something to understand that ... You're laying in a couch and you have this puppy who's trying to get up to you... He pounces and tries everything he could to get up to you; But when he gets up there-"what is it" he needs to do ... The point here is that like that puppy when finally getting that "good guy" she asks for she doesn't know what to do ; she knows how to deal with all the lame guys out there but and i say but she doesn't know what to do with a "good guy" -People say what they want but actions speak louder than words and thats what why most relationships fail... There's not enough doing..words are just words.

Because even-tho we good guys are out there, the majority of guys are d*cks, so when a woman meets a nice guy she cant believe it, the a$$holes scare them, then we have to work twice as hard to gain their trust!

Because they seldom find one that is what he says he is..I have been where you are talking about .. and its annoying but sooner or later when you least expect it.. there she is .. and you are the one that is wondering if SHE is too good to be true, but after four years with mine..I was right she is the BEST...and no catches..she really is who she is..just hang in there..

most of us have been hurt by some guys in the past and therefore we have to protect ourselves from getting hurt again. the way round it is to prove to whoever it is that you are a good guy and u are worth putting trust into. us females can very very defensive. i found it so hard to trust after my last pearshaped relationship but important ones will go fine, im here one year on witha great guy. prove yourself.
