Don't take photos to impress people. If you talk to the professionals, they don't take pictures to get that perfect shot.
Look at the National Geographic. For every good picture you see, 300 more were tossed aside.
YOU need to be the creative artist, but also let the natural personality of the person come alive. You can't control every aspect or it will appear fake.

Try looking at the instructions on the Ritz camera web site. They have illustrated articles like "how to take great family pictures", "how to take winter scenic photos" and "how to choose a camera for personal use." That will get you started.

Get action pictures- helping one another, reading to a child, etc. Oh, remember to leave head room. You don't want to have the whole action shot fit on the whole pic. Leave room and get eye-level. That helps too. Good Luck and God Bless!!!

Take pictures of people helping people. People that help people are often admired by others. So, help me help you.

I am an amateur photographer still learning the tricks myself. I take pictures then hang them up like I am displaying them and asked my self what I like and don't like. Learn from experience.
