Hi I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can get a good deal on 12" Sony Xplod Subwoofers? I've looked on Ebay but shipping prices are out of control. Thanks

Sony does not make good speakers.
plenty of Car audio staff has told me this.

If you're on a budget, there is nothing wrong with Sony Xplod subwoofers. If you're going for high output spl, then they would be a bad choice. However for the price, they play decently well. Just make sure you don't overpower them in any way. They respond very negatively to higher power, which is typically why people bash on them.
If various online stores do not give you the price you're looking for, you may be able to go to your local audio store and bargain with them. For example, you could go to Best Buy, ask to see the sales manager or whatever, and try to deal with them. Maybe agree to buy a sub and amp and installation, so long as they give you a low price.

sony wouldnt be a good choice, id save my money and buy something worth while. you might try audiobahn they give a good bang for your buck, or you might save up and buy a high end sub, but your more than likely just paying for the name on the product. it all depends on what you are going for, quality or just good ol' trunk rattling
