Mine has 170,000 miles and has never been in the shop.Iv'e replaced brakes and the battery.How many miles does yours have and what have you done to it???

I have a 97 4.6 triton, ive neglected it terribly and has 120,000 on it. It runs great and has no leaks whatsoever. Ive never done spark plugs or serpentine belt. Just oil changes and filters.

I have a 96 Grand Marquis with that same 4.6. 117,000 and still burring. I do have the same starter, alternator and even the water pump that came from the factory. At about 70 k I had some new tie rods installed, plugs and plug wires and got new tires, other then that its been a really low maintenance car. I had to bring it in at 80 K when the thermo- plastic intake manifold cracked. No rust anywhere!!!
Go to Chamberlain vs Ford for that finding.
