US Army Reserve

Would have stayed out of the military completely if i had a chance to do it all over again. If that is not an option I would have Stayed in the Army but have gone active duty and went into military intelligence.

Army hands down. I have learned more, trained more and been more places than I ever dreamed of. I learned the true value of leadership and mentorship. I have been in since Oct of 91 and though I wanted to ETS in 96, I stayed, finished my BS and am now working on my Masters. I have been all over the world, exprienced many cultures and have seen and done many things.

I originally wanted to join the Air Force and almost did, but they couldn't guarantee my job field, so I went Army instead. I got promoted faster, got my degree, gained valuable experience, maintained my security clearance and have the skills, training, and confidence to succeed after retirement. While I do value the Marines and their unique abilities, NOTHING beats a good ol' Soldier! Go Army!!!

The few, the proud, the Marines!!!! I have uncles who've been in Army and Navy, which is great for them. I wanted to be a part of the best so I went the way of the Marine Corps and haven't looked back since.

I served in the Navy during Vietnam and if I had a chance to do it over again, I would have gone into the National Guard.

Two years of Navy ROTC in college, which I dropped because I was too full of myself to consider serving my country. If I was 21 again, I would join the Marines in an instant, if they would have me.

Spent 22 years in the USAF. Never regretted a day of my service, would make the same choice again. There is no better way of life than to serve your country.

I'd join the air force. They have a higher quality of life.
But the Army pays more*.

* Army promotes much faster then Air force.
