The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one in their character, thoughts and actions. They are in complete unity they have no confusion in them.
The first verses in Geneses [beginnings] says 'let us make man in our image' and the first reference to God in Hebrew means, more than one.
Holy means that they are complete and that they are set apart from any other, that there is none like them. Father, Son [Jesus] and Holy Spirit are all truth, love, kindness, mercy, have all power and all life exist by and for them they are righteous and Just. Therefore they are to be esteemed over all else and feared.
I don't want to get much here but I hope this helps.

Ok, try holding up 3 fingers. One is the Father (God), one is the son (Jesus), and another is God's force, which I dont think has an excact form (God really doesnt either), but sends things to us, like when God wants us to say something specific, or it gives us a better ability to pray, or compassion for sinners, and feelings of peace, and grace, or faith, or hope, a spirit that leads us to do things ( The holy spirit) Now, take those 3 fingers and move them directly right next to each other with no spaces in between. They are all ONE. All formed together to be God. Just like you cant have a personality without at LEAST 3 traits. Or you a whole face without eyes, nose, lips, etc. Or you cant type without a keyboared.

Do you understand what Im saying? These 3 things ARE what makes up our Lord. You cant serve one without the other. You cant truly know God without his son. I hope things become clear for you! :) It became clear when I became a christian, because I found how each part worked in my life together.

Jesus is God's son, yes, but he is a part of God right? Just like if you had children they would be apart of you. With some of your genes, DNA..etc. He is not his own father, but he is apart of God.

Another excample: What if you had a team of 3 for your favourite sport (soccer for instance) You couldnt really play the game by yourself, that would be cheating! You'd need to work together with all 3 players..a goalie, and two players to...pass the ball back and forth, and then work together to make the goal. The trinity is not really just like the game of soccer, but it involves the 3 "team players" or the father, the son, and the holy spirit to do the work. That's just how God made it. Although they all existed together, not one before the other.

Try reading the bible for more understanding, it is certainly a touchy subject, but I hope I explained it ok for you!

Christians believe G-d exists in three forms - the Father (in Heaven), the Son (Jesus as a manifestation of G-d on Earth), and the Holy Spirit (Jesus' spirit sent down after his death/resurrection). G-d exists in these ways all at the same time. It is a mystery and isn't to be taken literally.

There is no such thing as the Trinity, This is largest lie that Satan uses to keep people from knowing who the True God is, if he can do this, he's got you.

“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Matthew 24:36) How do these words confirm that Jesus is not Almighty God?

Jesus says that the Father knows more than the Son does. If Jesus were part of Almighty God, however, he would know the same facts as his Father. So, then, the Son and the Father cannot be equal. Yet, some will say: ‘Jesus had two natures. Here he speaks as a man.’ But even if that were so, what about the holy spirit? If it is part of the same God as the Father, why does Jesus not say that it knows what the Father knows?

1st of all Jesus said: He pointed to God as the Source of his life, saying, “I live because of the Father.” According to the context, this meant that his life resulted from or was caused by his Father, even as the gaining of life by dying men would result from their faith in Jesus’ ransom sacrifice. Joh 6:56, 57.

Jesus’ being called the “only-begotten Son” (Joh 1:14; 3:16, 18) does not mean that the other spirit creatures produced were not God’s sons, for they are called sons as well. (Ge 6:2, 4; Job 1:6) However, by virtue of his being the sole direct creation of his Father, the firstborn Son was unique, different from all others of God’s sons, all of whom were created or begotten by Jehovah through that firstborn Son. So “the Word” was Jehovah’s “only-begotten Son” in a particular sense,

Jesus is also “Mighty God” and “Eternal Father.” This does not mean that he usurps the authority and position of Jehovah, who is “God our Father.” (2 Corinthians 1:2) “He [Jesus] . . . gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God.” (Philippians 2:6) He is called Mighty God, not Almighty God. Jesus never thought of himself as God Almighty, for he spoke of his Father as “the only true God,” that is, the only God who should be worshiped. (John 17:3;

Rev. 1:1; 3:14, RS: “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him, why did God have to give the revelation to Jesus, if he is God? .

Does the Bible teach that none of those who are said to be included in the Trinity is greater or less than another, that all are equal, that all are almighty? Mark 13:32, RS: “Of that day or that hour no ones knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Of course, that would not be the case if Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were coequal, comprising one Godhead. And if, as some suggest, the Son was limited by his human nature from knowing, the question remains, Why did the Holy Spirit not know?)

John 14:28, RS: “[Jesus said:] If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.”

1 Cor. 11:3, RS: “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (Clearly, then, Christ is not God, and God is of superior rank to Christ. It should be noted that this was written about 55 C.E., some 22 years after Jesus returned to heaven.

A person who is really seeking to know the truth about God is not going to search the Bible hoping to find a text that he can construe as fitting what he already believes. He wants to know what God’s Word itself says. He may find some texts that he feels can be read in more than one way, but when these are compared with other Biblical statements on the same subject their meaning will become clear. It should be noted at the outset that most of the texts used as “proof” of the Trinity actually mention only two persons, not three; so even if the Trinitarian explanation of the texts were correct, these would not prove that the Bible teaches the Trinity.

Read the first chapter of John. Also Matt 28:16-20

One of the last persons is incorrect. God the father's name is not Johovah. He has no name and was referred to as I AM in the Old Testament. See Genesis.

There is a Holy Trinity and it is a mystery. Three persons, one God.

I know, is that just not ludicris that anyone would think that way! Over and over the Bible teaches that Jesus is God's Son. We have the Bible, given to us is terms we can understand, like a father and son being separate individuals, and people have to go twist things around, and make something wierd out of something so simple. It just plain says that Jesus if God's Son!

Matthew 3:16 & 17: " After being baptized Jesus immediately came up from the water; and, look! the heavens were opened up, and he saw descending like a dove God’s spirit coming upon him. 17 Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: “This is my Son, the beloved, whom I have approved.”

John 14: 28: "YOU heard that I said to YOU, I am going away and I am coming [back] to YOU. If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am."

Jesus speaking to Mary and Joseph when he was twelve years old...Luke 2:49 & 50: "But he said to them: “Why did YOU have to go looking for me? Did YOU not know that I must be in the [house] of my Father?” 50 However, they did not grasp the saying that he spoke to them".

Also, God's holy spirit is his active force. Something that God uses to do many things...create, give to his worshipers, etc. He tells us to pray for holy spirit.

Genesis 1:2:The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters." (amplified Bible)

Acts 2:2-4: " and suddenly there occurred from heaven a noise just like that of a rushing stiff breeze, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting. 3 And tongues as if of fire became visible to them and were distributed about, and one sat upon each one of them, 4 and they all became filled with holy spirit and started to speak with different tongues, just as the spirit was granting them to make utterance."

2 Peter 1:21: " For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit. "

Luke 11:13: "Therefore, if YOU, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to YOUR children, how much more so will the Father in heaven give holy spirit to those asking him!”

There are three parts to God, The Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Spirit. All three are different people, but all three together make one God.
