I went up to this guy i liked and i said the million dollar words,

Doesn't seem like a bad situation... if you can be friends you can hang out and try to find out if he likes you too.
If he doesn't, then you can move on, or at least still be friends.

ok now do that 500 times over and you wont be embarrassed anymore... I'm guessing this is someone that you have a crush on, so just do that and you wont feel shy around him anymore..
