It really depends on the type of equipment you are working on, and for what company, your level of experience or seniority. Aircraft Maintenance Technicians can start as low as $10.00 / hr and I personally now people in the field that make over $100,000 / yr. These are obviously well experienced people, performing the duties of Maintenance Directors on corporate jets. Line Mechanics for UPS make $43.00/ hr. I have made $38.00 / hr working for AA, but there always seems to be something to bring us back down. It's a tough career, if that's why you are asking. Timing is everything as in life. I know people who have only ever had 1 job, and the 5 weeks paid vacation to prove it, and others who have a new job every year, and nothing. Good Luck.

The range is from $10.00 Hr and up. Depends upon what company you work for and for how long. The higher salaries are with the major carriers then the regionals and then at a FBO.
Been one for 20 years and although I enjoy it the hours suck if you have a family.
