In our area the Big Sister, Big Brother program is being phased out because of the lack of funding. Maybe this has happened in your area as well. Don't take it personally, I'm sure it's not you, it's more likely the funding.

It seems like a good question. You say that you are disabled, could your disability, whatever it is, be a factor in their evaluation?
Is your marriage a factor? Perhaps the BB BS is concerned that your current family obligations might interfere with your commitments to their program, and to your "little sister". These are certainly questions to take up with them at their earliest convenience. If your disability, your existing household and family obligations and perhaps your lack of access to an automobile can be surmounted, you may well be a welcome addition to their organization.

This respondent cannot speak for them, but I want to offer you every encouragement to pursue this.

Find out what is happening, and rectify it if possible. Somewhere a child needs you very badly!! Good Luck.

Not Matched does not mean that they do not want you. No Match is available as of this time. Perhaps your disability will prevent you from full filling the duties. Ask them directly, you deserve a truthful answer.
