My best friend, well really my only friend, liked this guy that was dating one of her ex-friends, but she knew that they were about to break up so she told me she wanted me to meet him and talk to him to find out if he liked her and get him to ask her out. So we all hung out one day and i never got around to talkin to him, so we spent the night at his house so she would have some more time with him, and somehow, im not even sure how it happened, I ended up cuddled with him on his bed insted of her!!!!!!!!!!!! Now him and i are dating, she says she still likes him but is okay with me dating him, but really i know that it hurts her to see us together, in the beginning i was gonna break up with him because of her, but I love him to much and wouldnt think of breaking his heart by doing that. But im afraid im gonna love my best (only) friend!!!!!!! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!! I love them both soooooo much but i have a feeling im gonna lose one of them. WHAT SHOULD I DO??

Friends should come first. Boys come & go, but real friends are forever. Plus you dont LOVE this guy........you just have strong feelings for him.........more than likely lust type feelings.

How would you feel if you were in her shoes?? What would you want her to do??

Then again, the damage has already been done, but dont get mad at her when you two break up & she goes out with him.

That happened to me and it just depends on how thick the friendship is...I continued dating the guy my friend liked but our friendship stayed the same.....In the end he turned out to be your typical all about sex kind of guy and it wasn't worth it to either one of us..Don't sell yourself short and if you think it could harm your friendship with your only friend then kick the guy to the curb..Good friendships are much harder to find then mere men!

friends will always be there, guys come and go. if you didnt want to hurt your friend you should have never even started anything with him. it's not fair to hurt her feelings just so you can be happy, thats not really being a good friend.

one day ur most likely gonna break up with that guy... not to be pessimistic - but ur best friend will always resent you for dating her crush and probably wont want to be friends with you...
so ull lose both

aww... thats so sad. well you could try talking to both of them and see how they feel about each other. but just chose what you want. if you care too much about your best friend too, then you just gottah chose which one you love the most. if i were you, i choose my boyfriend, but he means everything to you. but i hope that your best friend understands well too though because she just likes him.

If you can love your friend that much, then you can love your boyfriend as just a friend.
