Most cities/towns have a "Christmas For All" program, and there are many churches that give toys/clothes to needy children during Christmas. The Marines have a "Toys For Tots" program. You just need to go sign up for it. Go and ask at your local Dept. of Health and Welfare.

well..for starters, the Good Will IS a good thing..u can always try the dollar general sotre, ask the father for c/s if u know where/who he is..and other stuff..I"m married & preg. w/my 1st child, and my mom was single raised me..but worked 3 jobs, and went to school..but single moms think they can do anything..ur in school, on ur welfare, what more can u ask for? I can't even get on welfare, not even on WIC, and my husband is a mechanic & he hasn't been there long enough (has 2 be there 1 year) to ANY type of insruance..we have our own place, and our son will have his own room, and we both work FT jobs..so single moms don't have It that bad..

If you can sew you can make her something, like maybe a doll or something like that. You don't need to buy something to have a nice christmas (or a nice life, for that matter). That's just what the commercials tell you to believe. Make her something, take her somewhere fun (but cheap or free) if there's anywhere that'd be good for that nearby, stuff like that.
Good luck with everything. Hope I helped a little.

You are right, she will not remember. Being the best Mom you can be is really all she needs.
