Recently I slept with a friend from my hometown. I don't live there anymore, but had a crush on this guy from visits. It all sorta just happened and now I think he is freaking out. He is not very good with girls and I think this might have pushed him away from me completely. I don't want it to be like that, especially since we share the same friends- who are fine with everything except his nervous attitude. I am wondering if I should send him an email to help him understand it is alright, or should I leave him to mend his own neurosis? I have already talked to my friends to ensure that they won't make him feel awkward, but they stress that I shouldn't worry about him and think of my own feelings (but those include him). Am I worrying too much about a worrier?

I don't mean to sound harsh, but perhaps you're freaking out about it more than he is? He could be horrified that you've discussed it with all your mutual friends and mortified that you've asked it on Yahoo questions.
Relax - it happened - just get on with your life :-)

Don't know what to tell you. This would not be an issue if you had more morals. These things don't "just Happen" we let them happen. Bottom line if you did the right thing and saved sex for the person you married, then it would be special and you would not have to worry. I really have no sympathy for you, this is the choice you made when you slept with him.

Is he freaking out because he likes you now? If he is, then you need to let him know how you feel.
Is he freaking out because he doesn't like you like that? Then leave him alone, any type of communication might make him think that you're stalking him.
Is he freaking out because he doesn't know what he's feeling? Then leave him alone. He'll get over it. And tell all your friends to leave him alone too. If he wants to talk about it to anybody, it should be you. It's nobody else's business anyways.

I think that all he needs is more time to think it out. If it takes him too long, than I think you should talk to him about how you feel. Maybe this will help him and help you out as well.

yeah, i'd say try just once to let him know it's alright and comfort him or whatever. email might work.
after that he's on his own cause he can't deal with his own actions. let him know you're not preggie. that used to scare the **** out of me when i was younger.

I would maybe talk to him about it for a minute & If he changes his attitude then cool but if not I would maybe just leave him alone.

Yes. It never hurts to make sure the air is clear and he is not misunderstanding anything.
