I'd like to keep it under $100 if possible. I am staying downtown, but will have a car, so anywhere within a 30 minute drive would be fine.

Thank you for your question.

The golf courses seem to charge higher fees from January through March in Tampa. The Rolling Oaks Golf Club is one of the best courses around Tampa and if you book your accommodation through Golfpact in the link attached you can get on there for $80 in the week and $108 for the weekend. Without Golfpact, it costs $115 or $143.

If you are there later in the year, it is a hell of a lot cheaper as you can see.

As mentioned above, there are many choices in the area, even at your target price range. There are other things to consider such of length and difficulty of the course, how easy is it to get a tee time, etc. The best option is to use a local golf course guide, such as the one below. Have fun!

We got lots of golf courses all over the Tampa Bay area.
They are on the maps.
