The Bible has been translated from Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Latin, old- middle- late-modern-day languages. Some of the words and phrases in the original documents were misinterpreted. For example, the quotation: 'It is easier to thread a camel through a needle than for a rich man to go to Heaven.' If I remember correctly, there are two words in Hebrew that are very similar: one that means camel; the other that means rope. It makes more sense for the word 'rope' than 'camel'. Also, many things were anologies, colloquialisms, and codes. These things were taken literally. On top of that, many items were written centuries after the events; mostly passed by word-of-mouth. As well as the proverbial 'lost-in-the-translation'. As the Christian church grew in numbers and strength, many things were deliberately distorted, added, and omitted to service the needs of the powers-that-be (some humans with the delusions of godhood) to wield over their followers. There is the old adage to consider: history is written by the winning side. Perhaps the Bible has truth in it; which makes it difficult to say 'yea' or 'nay' as to its authenticity. It's easier to prove that a lie is a lie than to fully figure out half-truths. How sad. (This is just in a nutshell.)

How can it be 100% true? I mean the whole of the bible? Read on

"Sorry if the following answer offends you, in anyway directly, or indirectly. I have nothing against Christians, I just want to lay down the truth infront of them. And again sorry"

I don't think there is anyone that has read the whole bible with full understanding to it, that's still a chrisitian.... because how can someone read the whole bible inside out and still be a chrisitian when it has many contradictions and lies? [sorry if your offended]

Apart from contradictions....what do you call these?

Yes I do, and I dont believe there are contradictions, just things ppl dont yet understand. It was writtten by men, thats true, but it was inspired of God, and He would not let error come in. God says it is the book for us to guide us and show us what He wants and dont want. and we better believe it. There is no other way. and anyone that doesnt believe it will be lost, and any relgion that doesnt ahve the doctrine of Jesus will be lost. God is clear on that. and since Jesus is coming son, we better all be getting this, before we die or Jesus does coom. The Bible is Gods love letter to us. full of so much love and information and warnings even, because HE loves us and wants us to go to Him to be saved. Just study it and see, and then pray. soon it becomes clear. more you study, more you learn... amen

Yes, it is 100% true. An overwhelming amount of evudence (historical accuracy, geological, prophetic, etc.) supports it's authenticity.

No, we did not exist before we were born. Though we were always in God's mind.

I believe in Jesus Christ. I am a member of a Southern Baptist Church.

Similar denominations would be: Methodist, Presbyterion, Nazarene.

There are a lot of symbols and parables that Jesus used to get a point across. But the bible is that word of God. Its a real book. And it's "God Breathed" so I beleive it! Ive read almost all of it.

I do believe the bible is true, but even if I didn't it would still be true.
We didn't exist prior to our birth. God knew us before we were formed in our mothers womb. Until we were formed we didn't exist.
