My grandmother passed away today, and I am speaking at her funeral. Does anybody have any poems that talk about dying? I would prefer if they were Christian in nature, because she was Christian.

Thank you Pangle and Sherzade. That means a lot to me. I'm still in shock, I think. None of this seems real to me at all.

As a Witness, and might I say, a true Christian by Bible standards, I know the teaching from Christ about the resurrection and my hope is that you and your grandmother will be reunited in the True Life to come here on earth-after armageddon. This is what really helps me when I suffer a loss, just knowing that a Loving Creator would provide that miraculous hope for us humans-He has promised and He(Yahweh-Jehovah God) can not tell a lie because He IS Love and LOVE tells Pure Truth.

ok have changed my mind ... you may use it or not use it that is up to you ... but i wanted to share this as i wrote it when my mother in law passed away

when i think i need you most i feel your hand in mine
your arms wrapped around me filled with love divine
you are but a breath away, a single thought, a glance
and when i fear carrying on you help me take a chance
you have taught me to love, be thoughtful and be kind
and i know im never alone youre in my heart and mind

( i hope the words at least give you a little comfort xx )
