I am 91 pounds, 5"3, 14, and female. Everyone in my school, and in tv and magazines are so skinny.
Considered to you, am I fat?

NOOOO you're not fat. The girls in mags are killing themselves to fit the standards of the media. No normal person is that skinny and pertfect. You're perfect the way you are. THROW AWAY THE MAGAZINES!!!! Good luck sweetie please don't starve your self to be like them

You do know that they computer photo-chop most of those pictures?

You are not fat with those proportions. Kudos to the guys who are saying the same.

Not everyone carries their weight the same but I would just make sure in your case that I didn't get too thin! You are at about the 7th percentile (16%BMI) in Body Mass Index, which means you are thinner for your height than 93% of girls your age. That is pretty thin. (Contrary to what 'Daisygirl' said, underweight for a 14 year old is under the 5th percentile, like if you lost 10 pounds, then you would be underweight)

Just remember that your perception of how you look is right up close and personal. That's why most people tend to be their own harshest critics. Take care of yourself and just don't go overboard on anything. You should be fine.

You think YOU'RE fat? I am 145 4'11 and is 13 now I am fat so don't say things like that those people in TV and magazines are anorexic (which is REALLY bad for you)

The people in magazines can be digitally altered. As for tv and school, it's just your perception. For example, I've been told my arms are muscular and toned, but I don't see it that way; in fact, I don't see any changes from when I was in high school.

At 5'3" and 91lbs, you're in the healthy range, if not, a little underweight. Eating a cheeseburger now and then (and digesting it) won't hurt you.

Theres a tshirt quote I really like: "If the definition of beautiful gets any thinner, no one will fit."

Your less than 100 lbs, and your asking if your fat? sheesh! No! Youve got a good ways to go before your even close.
Two words for magazine and billboard standards: photo. shop.
Those runway models in the the freaky-looking fashion shows look to be one step away from anorexic (if they arent already).
Seriously. Whats wrong with the world today for them to think they have to be skinny to be beautiful?

No, you should be happy the way you are. Stay away from eating disorders. Love your body as it becomes more devoloped. I know this because I have an ED, and luckily i know, that if you get caught up with the celebs, tv, and even the obbsessivly thin at school, you begin to second guess yourself, and your body.

NO ONE under a hundred pounds is fat. Unless you are a 2 year old, you should be just fine.

No way those magazines are fake don't try to compare yourself to those twigs, besides most guys like a little meat on your bones.

That doesn't sound fat to me. Sounds like you are right on target. Don't pay any attention to those mags, all those girls starve themselves to look like that and it's unrealistic and unhealthy. Be happy with who you are.
