I go out w/ this black guy right now and my mom didn't like it the first time she didn't like it b/c she didn't want people looking at me and William (my b/f) and talking bad about me. but see now my mom doesn't know and i was just wondering why white women prefer blacks. Do they like treat us better or what?

The question that you should be asking is "why does it matter what color the guy you're dating is?" It doesn't matter what color you are; pigs (and princes) come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and religions. Trust me, you mom is only telling you that she is concerned about "people looking" at you...ask her what she really thinks.

Most white women don't prefer black men. Probably 90 -95% of women do not prefer men of different race black or white. You are very much a minority.That doesn't mean they are not acceptable. My cousin is married to a black man and they are always welcome in my home. Some women just feel comfortable with a black men. That's ok. I wouldn't eliminate anybody because of race.

This is not true for all women. There are many possiblities, for some it creates attention, for others they do not always like to do what is "accepted" in society and want to change the way it is looked upon. They may just find Black men more attractive then other men.

Personally, I think when a white woman sleeps with a black man its a slap in the white mans face! What your own kind isn't good enough? God did not want the races to mix he intended for all of us to be with our own kind of race. That is when we mix races it bad for the children they don't know what world to be in a white one or a black one and also get picked on. If you are white woman and have a black boyfriend and your parents say to you "Oh he's ok, we just love him too and he's so good for her" Their lying to you, they just don't what to lose your love as their daughter...Get Real your blind to the fact! Its the same for a black man that brings home a white woman to meat his parents, they say the same type of think, "Oh his white girlfriend is so sweet and she's good for him" Also get real they too as parent don't want to lose their sons love as well. It's just a BIG SLAP ALL AROUND FOR YOUR OWN RACE! I am not a racist, I don't believe in mix relations its just not right!

Well, I'm from a very multicultural city so I've seen mixed couples and children of all kind and everyone is used to this mix. From asians and blacks, to whites and browns, etc. But there are still some racist people out there who judge a lot. For those who judge, it's their own problem. We're all human just multicoloured. We're all the same. Maybe your city is not used to/open to multiculture yet. But by the next generation, it'll be a lot more biracial children and the people will adapt lol.

Strange question because that is true for some white women obviously - not all - say alot about you - not much about all women - well I am glad to hear you are happy with your black guy. It sounds like from what you are saying you like your black guy because you and your mom's values find that this might be a bit taboo and so that might excite you - if that is all it is this relationship sadly is doomed to fail - but only time will tell on such things anyway.

first of all not all white girls like black guys. some do some don't its all in their opinion. And second of all sleazy P. Martini i think its rude that you are insinuating that all African American men are poor and live on the streets!!!! This is, of course, a sweeping generalization. In fact, the majority of 'white' women are in relationships with men of the same ethnicity. Bi-racial couples are still the exception, not the rule. Some women are attracted to men of other ethnicities. Myself, for example...I am married to a wonderful man from the Bahamas. However, it wasn't the color of his skin that attracted me, it was the content of his character that did.

I don't know. maybe white women are curious to see what it would be like to date outside of their race. Maybe they think the sterotypes about black males are true. Maybe they want to piss off their parents. I'm not exactly sure. I think a person is a person and race does not determine character.

Most white women do not according to statistics, but of those who do prefer black men it is usually based on either a truly close relationship with the person himself, or, just curiosity and a need for attention.
