Start eating whole wheat items. I know it sounds gross, but it doesnt taste different at all, it even tastes better. Look for spaguetti, bread, rice, even Chips A Hoy! that come with 100% whole wheat. But, be careful cause not everything that says whole wheat is good. Check that it doesnt say ENRICHED anywhere in the label, otherwise you might as well just eat bad food cause its the same.
Include also smaller portions and stop eating when you feel you are ok. Check yourself for when you think you are eating just to keep your mouth full. Put the food aside and come back to it later if you really feel like eating. Also, try and have something to eat every 3-4 hours to keep you from binge eating late at night.
The most important thing is to check you are eating the right things, not the bad tasting things cause then you wont follow through. South Beach Diet products taste really good, specially the protein bars. Klondike also makes some great low fat/no sugar (with Splenda) fudgesicles for when you need that litle kick.
Ultimately, a little bit of exercise here and there is what will make the trick though. Start a little routine of 10 push ups, squats and crunches, just to get the momentum started.

Quick way? Well, there are never any quick fixes... but here is something I did. (backstory: after having to kids, i found it difficult to get the weight off. I gained 30 additional that would not disappear... here is what I did to lose 20 pounds in 4 and a 1/2 weeks.
Day one: Nothing but fruit, except banana's
Day two: Nothing but veggies (all kinds)
then the rest of the week.... I only ate water based fruits before noon.
for lunch I had a hearty veggie sandwhich with spicy mustard
- on brown, heavy seeded not too milled bread
- veggies were tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, sprots and green peppers.
For dinner I ate a lean cuisine and a piece of fruit for dessert.
I drank a gallon of water a day, no sugar beverages, and I did that for 5 weeks and the weight is gone.
Never did too much physical activity except for choosing stairs instead of an elevator.

This is what worked for me.Most people are trained to eat between 3 and 5 times a day.They set a schedule.So even if they are not truely hungry they eat because the food is served.Diets do not realy work.So I began eating only when my body was truely hungry and only enough to satisfy...never over induldge.Then through out the day I do not stop moveing.Plus eating before going to bed is a no no.It only puts the weight on while you sleep.Drink only water in the evening.I lost 20 pounds in the first month.Try it.

Sorry but the only way I lose weight is by healthy eating and plenty of exercise. I'm doing that at the moment and dropped 8kgs in just over 5 weeks.
Key is - do it sensibly and in moderation to prevent your health suffering - GOOD LUCK!!

:) good luck.. i'm in the same boat. it's hard to lose it! eat small portions, have snacks, don't over indulge, don't completely shut out sweets, happy medium. eat lotsa veggies and fruits~

try this work out. it's amazing. cut back the sugars like candy and pop from your diet. a friend of mine did that and lost like 10 pounds from that alone.
