I believe it to be so, because they have a common source--God the Almighty.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)

i believe there's an external consiouseness, a third perspective that we all share, and that is the universe. just look at religion: it all evolved the same way around the same time across the world between people who werent connected. there must be a 3rd plain, a collective consiousness we all share with everything in the universe. i guess we might be able to chalk it up to instict, though.

sounds like cosmic awareness..i believe it is what underlies our consciousness,that little voice in our head, usually pointing us in the right direction. i feel a connection to a ethereal braintrust within the entire universe which guides humanity gradually toward our ultimate goal of acceptance in the universal community once we've achieved actual peace on our own world
