Well it sounds like he's jock so get him something like a cap from Abercombie & Fitch

Well first off you should start by teaching him that it is rude to use the term "gay" in a derogatory way. Other than that, get him a cool shirt or sweater (depending on how much money you want to spend) and give it to him with a gift receipt (ask the cashier for one) that way he can return it if he wants. Don't be offended if he returns it though, since his tastes may be different than yours.
There's also the tried and true gift certificate, but these are boring. If you do get him a gift certificate, get one for the whole mall if they offer it. That way he can use it at any store he wants. Also, give him a cool Christmas card.

You could buy him a really nice cologne set. I'm pretty sure abercombie has some.
Or just walk into a sports store that has football stuff. You could even ask another football player or one of his friends what he would like.

I have a daughter in 10th grade and her BF plays football. She gave him her cheerleading photo last year and from what his mother says he loves it!
This year she's putting together a photo collage of them and their friends from over the years. All the photos are being mounted inside a poster frame. It looks great! Not to mention some of the crazy drawings they do when bord in class..lol
Give him something he can hang on to forever. It may sound corny, but I still have a few little things an X-high school GF gave me. It always brings a smile to my face. Good times!

8th grade your about 13 or 14 i doubt he will get u anything men are cheap at the early ages lol i would make him a nice cd.. some cool box to keep all his games or secret things in .. simple don't put out a lot in the beginning then they expect stuff. a cool music mag from hot topic or the book store and give him one of your t shirts for him to sleep in..

I don't think you should get him a gift card to any one of those stores it should be from your heart. I would set up a date to play football in the snow or whatever weather and then go out to eat or go to your house and make dinner together.

You can always get him a shirt from his fav store, and maybe add something from a sports store in the package. I'm in college and I'm getting my boyfriend some american eagle shirts he likes, a video game he wants, and a gift card for itunes so he can get some music :)

If he likes football why not get him something with that team on it.. dont go spending alot of money on him though.. Gotta give it a little time first..
